How often have you watched a magician and said to yourself “I wish I knew how he did that!”? Well, now you can learn the secrets with Fred’s magic lessons. Fred in the Shed offers adult magic lessons where grown ups can learn some magic tricks while enjoying an entertaining couple of hours. Fred keep the banter going while he teaches, ensuring that his adult magic classes are loads of fun for all involved.

Fred offers 3 different magic workshops where different magician skills are taught. Firstly there is slight of hand and simple magic illusions. Secondly, learning how to perform and develop a personality and magician’s patter. And last, is balloon modelling – the art of twisting balloons into animal shapes and not popping them!

We booked ‘Fred in the Shed’ and his ‘Mischief Makers’ Magic Show to promote this year’s challenge and can highly recommend him. All the children (and their parents!) were in stitches from the start and the time flew by. Fred engaged so well with all ages from tetchy toddlers to grumpy grannies and had the audience in the palm of his hand. The show entertained young and old and constantly referenced the library and the Summer Reading Challenge. We would definitely book him again!
