Over the past 8 years Fred in the Shed has become a permanent and very welcome fixture at the annual Caversham Church Fete in Caversham Court. His brand of irreverent humour, which is frequently cheeky but never rude, is loved by children and adults alike. Fred in The Shed helped us provide a great event for our local community. We had no doubt it would be great event for our community but didn’t realise just how popular and how professional the experience would be. I just wanted to thank you again for Henry's party yesterday. My family and friends and the children all had a fantastic time and everyone said as they left how fun it was. The thing I wanted to thank you for the most though was the way that you dealt with Henry. He has been quite unsettled over the past week or so with the imminent arrival of a sibling and was totally overwhelmed at the start of the party but your sensitive and gentle approach soon lured him in and he had the most wonderful time. He is still talking about having to stand on a chair for his cake and all the dads dancing!

I've been meaning to email you since Thomas' party on the 19th of August, but things seem to have been hectic as ever, with a week’s camping from Monday the 21st!! Just to say thank you so much for giving Eliza the best 5th birthday entertainment we could have hoped for! Entertaining over 30 children 4yrs-14yrs (and all the adults) for over 90 minutes is amazing and you kept everyone laughing and participating throughout. We booked ‘Fred in the Shed’ and his ‘Mischief Makers’ Magic Show to promote this year’s challenge and can highly recommend him. All the children (and their parents!) were in stitches from the start and the time flew by. Fred engaged so well with all ages from tetchy toddlers to grumpy grannies and had the audience in the palm of his hand. The show entertained young and old and constantly referenced the library and the Summer Reading Challenge. We would definitely book him again!
